  Today I attempted to order a six foot sub sandwich, cut-up and placed on trays for pick up early on the morning of 10/31.....(0700'ish). I was told that that would be impossible because 0700 is too early. I asked if the sandwich could be made the day before so that I could pick it up the morning of 10/31 and I was told doing that would be too much of a hardship on the "closers." REALLY?? Making a sandwich is too much of a hardship??!!!
  
  I will NEVER order from Smiths again and will now take my business to Subway, who it turns out, is able to get to work when they arrive at their store and is willing to meet customer expectations. Undoubtedly, they want my business now and in the future.
  
  I would propose that based on my experience today, that the Smiths Deli business model (which should include providing customer service and meeting expectations) is broken.

  Options? There are no others when it comes to a grocery store in White Rock. Thankfully, it's not terrible. Smith's has a decent selection of just about everything you might typically need from your local grocery store.
  
  Selection ranges from bargain generic labels to name-brand organic labels. The selection of organic options and prices are fair. Just remember your Smith's rewards card to get the best prices. If your looking for something more specialized consider taking a trip up to the Los Alamos Co-op or the Smith's Market Place.
  
  In the evenings there is a quite a rush and the store can become busy when folks get off of work. At any given time you'll probably run into someone you know.
  
  I have always found the employees to be friendly and they are usually helpful when you need to find something or need help out to your car.
